We are a brand new specialty coffee shop in Spring, Texas, locally owned by experienced coffee enthusiasts. Our team is extremely dedicated to the art of craft coffee, and provides this experience through multiple guest roasters, which are served to commemorate multiple different types of coffees, all coffees that we love and hope to share with our community. Through extensive training, you can be confident that anything served to you will be served with lots of dedication, practice, and care by our wonderful and out-going staff.


Ethan Elms is a dog lover, and sometimes a barista.  He began in the service industry when opening a snow cone stand at the age of 15, which he sold after finishing college at the University of Texas in Austin, TX.  After a transition from a career in engineering, Ethan began his coffee career at Whole Foods, before making a move to being a barista in Houston, TX for Greenway Coffee.  He is now reprising his role of entrepreneur through the opening of Momentum Coffee, where he looks forward to creating a great guest experience and great coffee.  In his spare time he enjoys long, relaxing sits on the couch, and a run every now and then.  Wanna know more?  Stop by and ask!


Allen is an experienced retailer, master roaster and coffee industry consultant. He regularly teaches classes on cupping, roasting, service and all aspects of brewing.  On a regional level, Allen is active in building local barista and coffee culture. He is a Certified Lead Instructor for the SCAA, a former chair of the Roasters Guild and a Licensed Q-Grader.  Allen believes there is something new to learn about coffee every day.


Tia Hoffman is a seasoned barista, Credentialed Lead Instructor for the Specialty Coffee Association, successful retailer, and Managing Partner at Momentum Coffee outside Houston, Texas. She currently leads the Coffee Education and Training Program for a Houston-based illy Coffee distributor teaching clients throughout the Southwest. She recently attended the CIA in Napa Valley and earned the illy Coffee – Artisti del Gusto (artists of taste) certification. When she’s not working or traveling for work, you’ll find her hanging out and supporting the Houston barista scene. In her free time, she enjoys scuba diving, cupping coffee, swimming, and searching for the perfect shade of lipstick.
